15 Cruelty-Free Makeup Brands Worth Noting

Hi ya’ll! I took a look at my collection the other day and realized that a lot of the brands I own are actually cruelty-free without me even noticing. Turns out, these are some of the BEST cosmetic cruelty-free brands you can come across. So I was inspired to compile a list of 15 brands you can get your hands on right now. I hope you enjoy this list. Please leave a comment down below and thank you for reading! xx

Kat Von D created her own makeup empire when she launched her first cosmetics brand. The famous tattoo artist/beauty innovator even sketches her own artwork on her packaging. KVD Beauty ranges from contour kits to lipsticks, and can be found at Sephora stores and online.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills

Although Anastasia Beverly Hills started off with eyebrow products, the founder and her daughter, Norvina, have added lipsticks, palettes, and single eyeshadows that the beauty community gazes over. You can find ABH at Sephora, Ulta, and online.

3. Marc Jacobs Beauty

Marc Jacobs is a well known designer whose cosmetic line is far from ordinary. The luxurious and cruelty-free brand creates foundations, eyeshadows, and eveything in between. A good investment if you ask me. You can find Marc Jacobs Beauty at Nordstrom, Sephora, Macy’s, and online.

4. theBalm Cosmetics

I don’t know why people don’t talk about theBalm cosmetics. They have amazing quality for an affordable price (not drugstore). The brand also has this adorable 50’s retro theme to their products which is always a plus. You can find theBalm at Kohl’s and Sephora.

5. PUR Cosmetics

PUR Cosmetics is another brand that isn’t raved about as much. I’ll see them on my Instagram feed every now and then, but no one ever really hypes them up besides that. Give them a try.

6. Cargo Cosmetics

I came across Cargo Cosmetics because of a gift I received on my birthday. I looked at the packaging and literally thought to myself “This looks like an Avon brand.” I was wrong, (no disrespect to Avon) but their shadows impressed me. So creamy, blend-able, and pigmented.

7. Milani Cosmetics

*Kanye Voice* MILANI IS ONE OF THE BEST DRUGSTORE BRANDS OF ALL TIME. True stuff. Milani has hit every product out of the water- from their liquid lipsticks, to blushes, and to their foundation. You gotta give them a try if you haven’t already.

8. Sonia Kashuk

Sonia Kashuk is one of the more “boujee” products that you can find at your local Target. Her brushes and concealer kits are high-end comparable.

9. wetnwild Beauty

Ah, wetnwild is a favorite for me. My very first lipstick I bought was Spotlight Red from their matte collection, and I still pick it up every now and then! They’ve also stepped it up when it comes to trends. Wetnwild can’t do any wrong in my opinion.

10. Jordana Cosmetics

Jordana can be found at your local dollar store. Need I say more? Their lipsticks and lipliners are a must.

11. Makeup Geek

Some of the earliest YouTube tutorials I watched were from MakeupGeek‘s channel. They just made makeup look so easy. Loved by many and for good reason. MUG’s eyeshadows are said to be some of the best quality, for their price of course.

12. Colourpop Cosmetics

Colourpop cosmetics is killing it. They release little campaigns that are soooo aesthetically pleasing to the eye, you’re convinced you need it. I mean look at those color schemes.

13. Dose of Colors

I haven’t tried Dose of Colors yet but their lipsticks are top-notch. Though they are a little bit more on the pricier side, they’ll probably last you longer than a drugstore product.

14. Melt Cosmetics

Famous for their dark vibes, Melt Cosmetics is one of my all time favorite brands. Okay I might be a little biased because the founder, Lora Arellano is Mexican, BUT their products are so good! I promise.

15. SUVA Beauty

SUVA beauty was introduced to me a little more recently. I saw their UV hydra liners and was blown away at the creativity the brand carries. I always peep their Instagram for color inspiration.
